In San Fruttuoso there is the statue of Christ the abyss, imposing bronze work willed by pioneer and master of underwater Marcante Duilio. The statue, with arms toward the sky seems to want to protect those who are immersed in these waters, is a destination for many visitors and easily accessible, even in apnea (12-18 metres).
